Vanessa

Getting married in just a few short months, Vanessa wanted to take the time to create images of herself that would commemorate this time in her life as well as images that she could gift to her new husband. When I arrived at Vanessa’s apartment and started talking with her about the session I asked her what inspired her to take the leap and book a boudoir session (or an intimate portrait session as I prefer to call it). Coming from a more conservative background she felt that she wanted to have these images to remember herself, to remember this time in her life before she gets married, before life and kids and new adventures begin.

Using only the light from her beautiful bedroom windows and playing around with the space and light that was available we were able to create beautiful images that represent both Vanessa’s playful side as well as something deeper, subtle and alluring.
